A brand new magazine ‘Experience NCL’ will launch in September with 15,000 copies being distributed directly to students in the city.

Northern Universities and the students are worth £12.2 billion to the economy. Businesses need to connect with these students as soon as possible to maximise the value to their business during their studies.

In late September, a new wave of students will descend upon the city and others will return to start the second and third years of their university education.

For the city’s bars, restaurants, retailers, letting agents and entertainment providers, this provides a lucrative market.

With this mind, ChronicleLive – one of the UK’s largest newsbrands – is launching a one-off magazine and a series of online features aimed at students looking for things to do and cheap deals in Newcastle.

15,000 copies of the supplement will be printed and distributed directly to students via street teams and posted to known student addresses.

Online a series of content showcasing places to go and deals to be had will reach students through highly targeted social media campaigns.

For North East businesses this is a heavily targeted platform putting businesses in the hands of and on the social feeds of tens of thousands of potential new customers.
